FCE College Commits

See below the list of FC England players who have committed to playing college soccer from 2021 onwards. Prior to 2021, none of our players were old enough to commit (the club was formed in 2015).

Cassidy Van Cott

Cassidy Van Cott (2022) is our G03 goalkeeper and is a senior at Santa Monica High School where she is also one of the captains. Cassidy follows in the footsteps of ex-teammates Sami and Reese Hallo who both began their college soccer careers this year. Cass will attend Regis College in Massachusetts to represent the Pride in NCAA DIII.

Cass is an original FCE member and has been with us since the club was formed back in 2015.  She has been the only goalkeeper for G03 during the past 6 years and has developed into one of the most respected players on the team; her impressive shot-stopping, fearlessness and truly exceptional ability to intercept through balls has made her irreplaceable and we'll be sorry to see her go at the end of this season. That said, we are looking forward to seeing Cass continue to develop as she begins her college soccer career in the fall of 2022. Congrats Cass!

Samantha Hallo

Sami Hallo (2021) plays for FCE G03 and is a junior at Santa Monica High School. Sami is the first ever FCE player to commit to playing collegiate soccer and she will attend Seton Hill in Pennsylvania to represent the Griffins in NCAA DII.

Sami is an original FCE member and has been with us since the club was formed back in 2015.  She had help and guidance from recruiting expert and FCE's College Liaison, Nic Heffernan who provides information and assistance throughout the college process to FCE players and parents. We are looking forward to seeing Sami's continued progress as she heads off to college in 2021. Congrats Sami!

Reese Hallo

Reese Hallo (2021) plays for FCE G03 and is a junior at Santa Monica High School. Reese is the second FCE player to commit to playing collegiate soccer (following her twin sister, Sami) and she will attend Menlo College (CA) to represent the Oaks in the NAIA.

Like her sister, Reese is also an original FCE member and has been with us since the club was formed in 2015.  She had help and guidance from recruiting expert and FCE's College Liaison, Nic Heffernan who provides information and assistance throughout the college process to FCE players and parents. We are looking forward to seeing Reese's continued progress as she heads off to college in 2021. Congrats Bear!
